What actually gets wet
Water goes down and sideways. It runs along the top plate of a wall, down the stud cavity, under the baseboard and out into the flooring, often several rooms from where the pipe failed. What you can see is usually the smallest part of it.
That is what moisture mapping and thermal imaging are for, and it is why we do them before deciding what has to come out.
Repair, then dry
The repair is the fast part. The drying is what determines whether you are replacing drywall and flooring in three weeks because it was never properly dry.
Daily moisture logs while the equipment runs, pre and post remediation air quality logs, and independent laboratory air spore results.
