Appliance & Supply Line Leaks
The braided hose behind the washing machine, the line to the ice maker, the flex connector under a sink. Small parts, and a lot of the losses we get called to.
Signs you need this
They fail slowly, then all at once
Braided hoses have a service life. Most people never replace them. They weep at the crimp for months, which is enough to grow mold inside a cabinet, and then they let go completely.
If a hose behind your washer is more than five years old, replacing it is a cheap afternoon compared with what it does when it fails.
Slow leaks are a mold job, not just a water job
A supply line that has been weeping behind a cabinet has usually been doing it long enough that this is no longer only a drying problem. We test rather than guess, and the lab result decides the scope.
